These gems didn't make it to a real post.

Post Trip: Stats & Superlatives

Closing Stats

Distance:
I traveled 6,500 miles. That's like traveling from Boston to Bristol, England and back, driving across 114,400 football fields (If I did the math right), or the length of 248 conjoined marathons.

$1080 in gas. You could also buy 2204 Postage stamps, 939 copies of Nancy Grace's "The Eleventh Victim" on Amazon (But I don't recommend that you own one copy), or 216 Five Dollar Footlongs from Subway.

100 hours driving. That's equal to watching The Titanic 31 times, a four day weekend, or driving for 100 hours.

I'll be honest, I could have gone forever typing more denominations of time, money, and distance for comparisons but, like deaths, everything in threes or else.

Furthest points:
Northeast - NYC
Northwest - Moab, Utah
Southeast - Washington, D.C.
Southwest - Albuquerque, NM

Superlatives:
Best Food - Texas
Best Place to live - Denver
Best College town - Nashville, Austin, Boulder
Best Art - Omaha
Best Graffiti Art - Austin
Best Views - Utah
Best Worst Driving - Cheyenne
Best Billboards - Kansas City
Best People - Nebraska
Best City Littered in Trash - NYC
Best Potential - Baltimore
