New Jersey to Pennsylvania to Maryland to West Virginia to Kentucky
Pete, Frankenstein and I picked up Tyler in some historic tiny, old-timey town in Pennsylvania. He’s our rideshare. Tyler is going to Casper, Wyoming and will be traveling all over from there on with a carnival. Yes. A carnival worker. He’s doing that for two months with a friend of his and from there he’ll hopefully be working in conservation in Cali or Colorado in the fall. He and his girlfriend are into that stuff and they plan to travel and do that together when their timing syncs up, as she is currently away do that.
I asked Tyler is there was anything that he wanted to say to the internet and he said, “More people should view life as more of an adventure and not as a job thing. And always brush your teeth and change your socks.” And he’s right.
So driving through Pennsylvania and Maryland was a lot more scenic than I would have thought. So many mountains and farms. Here’s a few views.
It’s a weird concept that every second that I’m in this car, I’m driving further west than I’ve ever been. Had I never met Pete that night that bar and he told me about the trip, I would never have done this. Right now, in the alternate universe where I didn’t go on this trip, I’d be home watching something on youtube or mowing the lawn. Everyday life is like a movie. You can press pause, walk away, come back, and watch on. The lawn will be there when I get back. And I’ll mow. But for now, I'm westbound.
